Space and time to explore your thoughts and feelings
You may feel stuck, or lost, and unsure of how to move forward and achieve your goals. This is perfectly natural – from time to time we all need support in our lives to help us make sense of our feelings and to find ways to manage our emotions better. By reaching out, you have taken the first step towards achieving greater self awareness and being able to make more positive choices in your life.
Hello and welcome, I’m Lucy, a person centred, integrative counsellor and I provide counselling and clinical supervision in North Shields and online. I offer counselling for adults and couples on a short or long term basis. I can help you address challenges you may be facing by offering you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for us to explore what is troubling you and to support you in developing the skills needed to move forward in your life.
In our hectic lives, rarely do we get the time to explore our emotions and reflect on our experiences. Through counselling, you will be given the opportunity to share your experiences so you can better understand the issues that are holding you back and develop ways to integrate them into your life. I believe every client has the power to find their own answers within, therefore as your counsellor I am not here to fix you, but I will listen with empathy to help you find the root cause of your issues, and I can offer a fresh perspective to help you develop greater self-awareness and understand yourself better. This way, you can move towards greater independence and with the confidence that you can tackle whatever lies ahead.

I work from a multi service facility in North Shields. I can help clients from Newcastle, Blyth, Morpeth, Washington, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham and the surrounding areas.
I have a private and comfortable consultation room for our sessions together. It is easily accessed by bus or metro and there is free on street parking available.
More precise location details will be provided when you arrange your first appointment.
I am also available to work online via Video Call (Zoom, Teams, Whereby) for clients anywhere in the UK.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange a consultation call. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, if it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
