Space and time to explore your thoughts and feelings
You may be feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward. At times we all need support to make sense of our thoughts and feelings, understand ourselves more deeply and navigate life's challenges. Seeking support is a positive first step towards greater self awareness, emotional wellbeing and meaningful change.
Hello and welcome, I’m Lucy, a person centred and integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor offering counselling in North Shields and online. I work with adults on both a short or longer term basis. My approach is warm, collaborative and trauma-informed, offering a supportive space where you can explore what is troubling you, gain insight and make positive changes in your life.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, trauma survivors, trainee counsellors and those experiencing relationship, bereavement and mental health difficulties.

Life can often feel overwhelming, and we don't always have the time or space to reflect on our experiences or emotions. Counselling offers an opportunity to explore what is going on for you, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop ways of coping with the challenges you may be facing.
As a person-centred counsellor I believe that each person has the capacity for growth, change and self-understanding. My role is not to tell you what to do or try to fix you but to work alongside you with warmth, empathy and curiosity. Together we can explore the experiences, thoughts and feelings that may be affecting you, helping you gain insight and move forward with greater confidence.

I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors supporting ethical practice, professional development and ongoing learning.
