I am a BACP registered counsellor, practising for over 10 years and I have always had a passion for helping people. I have worked as a volunteer for various organisations since leaving education, including youth groups, community groups and charities and I continue to do so. These experiences enhance my knowledge and skills and have proven invaluable to me.
Before starting my own practice, I worked as a counselling services manager for a mental health charity, as well as continuing to work as a counsellor and supervisor. I trained and mentored students through their clinical placement and provided supervision for students in training and qualified counsellors within the service.
I strive to provide the best service possible for my clients. To that end, I regularly attend training and career development sessions to improve my range of skills, knowledge and experience.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange a consultation call. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, if it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
